The Cardiff Group of Advanced Motorists examiners cover the whole area for the group.
All our examiners hold a Police Advanced Driving Certificate, either serving or ex Police Class 1 and will have extensive experience from working within the Traffic sections of the Police Force.

What the examiners expects of you?
The IAM Test is based on the Police and Road Craft System of Car Control. As such what the Examiner expects on the test is based around the principles set down in Roadcraft (the Police Drivers Manual). Or more importantly, the IAM's interpretation of the Roadcraft principles in the IAM's own manual "Pass Your Advanced Driving / Riding Test".
